Dizzee Rascal - Boy In Da Corner

This was Dizzee Rascal's debut album in 2003 and since then he's progressed a long way, with a  mainstream breakthrough from Maths + English and with hits like Holiday and Bonkers ranking well in the charts.

This album has fantastic beefy beats, very electronic and something you could imagine being more suited to a dubstep song than a hip hop album, but I loved them.

His flow is superb spitting constant similes, every song thinking he's on the edge of screaming lyrics at you

Some songs on the otherhand seem to not fit and get pretty boring to listen to

overall I'd give this a 7/10

Kendrick Lamar - Section .80 review

This was my first listen to Kendrick's work and it impressed me.

I loved the beats on this album, a very classy and jazzy feel to them.

His rapping skills are great, even in song likes riggamortis he is out of breath from how fast he is rapping.

Some of the lyrics on the other hand, come of as obnoxious and personally I don't like that.

Overall I'd give this album a 7/10. Some of the lyrics let this album down for me but the beats were great.

FAV TRACKS: Riggamortis, Abs Soul (outro), The Spiteful Chant

Danny Brown - XXX review

So this is Danny Browns XXX album review.

Danny Brown is a rapper from Detroit Michigan, this is his second LP he's released and my first time listening.

The XXX takes on the idea of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, but it's mostly Dr Jekyll. This album is really himself rapping about his drug use, misogyny and rap skills, but not in the cliché way. The beats are great and this album is great, I'd give it an 9/10.
